Huge problems converting from odt

Hi,
I'm having a lot of problems with the new calibre.
Until I managed them, can someone please tell me where to find the old 0.5 version, that worked smooth for me?

this is an example of what I'm talking....
a regular odt file, with one image, h1 and h2 header for parts and chapters.
At first, during conversion, I managed to get calibre detect parts and chapters, but the conversion process get stuck at this point.
after a little correction fo the odt file, this is what I get during conversion:

Open a ticket and attach the file. And there is a sticky thread with links to old version of calibre. But looking at this error, I don't think an older version of calibre will solve your problems as the error occurs when converting IDT to HTML the code for which is the same in the 0.5.14 and 0.6.X

I think I get the error, i replaced the color background of some text with trasparent and the error disappeared.
But I still have the "stuck after chapter detection" situation... see attach

p.s. i need an older version for OSX

Converting ODT files can take a while as they have a *lot* of CSS, give it some more time.

I tried to convert a little book, and it takes 5min(!)to convert to mobi, so I'll follow your advice.
But, wasn't it faster in 0.5.x?

Yes, but it was less capable.

and keep up with the gook work, calibre is irrreplaceable

39min of near one core 100% occupation though...

the older version 0.5.14 took 6min... for the same conversion
