The InkPad 3 also has update 6.8.2461.

In these versions they have already fixed the problem with the external dictionaries and they work correctly again.

Can confirm that it fixes the disappearing page number bug. Can also confirm that the at least in my mind, the software feels faster and the reader a bit peppier. And dark mode seems more...integrated, just in my short time using the new release.
