Use this feature:
Code:
3.0.35-lab126 #2 PREEMPT Fri Nov 4 12:03:52 PDT 2016 armv7l
Press [ENTER] for recovery menu... 0 //dev/mmcblk0p4:
The system is too fast and human reactions are too slow to wait for the message.
So as soon as you see:
Code:
## Booting kernel from Legacy Image at 80800000 ...
Image Name: Linux-3.0.35-lab126
press and hold the [ENTER] key until you get the recovery menu.

The messages you see are from one of three reasons:
1) A partially installed update
2) An incorrect or damaged update file
3) A dead or dying flash memory
A PW2 is fairly old, I would go with #3 as most likely

Not possible.
You have not pressed enter soon enough or held it long enough.
The recovery menu is part of the code which you have already shown to run.

Unless (2) you where trying to install one of the factory files (which are not model locked) and installed one for the wrong model.
