My mom needs prayers. She has had pain in her mouth since her cancer treatment. she thought maybe it was an infection. It wasn't. The cancer left her lung but went to her brain. It's in multiple places I gather. With treatment they give her 4-6 months to live. :'(

That's a lot of sad news, Cinisajoy. Good wishes for the ill, their family and friends. And especially for those who have lost a young one.

That is sad, especially the 3 yr old. I have a friend here whose 7 yr old grand daughter died not so long ago. My friend had worked as activities director at Monroe Manor (a nursing/rehab facility) but had to quit, probably due to the emotional toll of losing her grand daughter. Cancer doesn't care how old or young a person is.

Thank you everyone for you kind words.
Cin, sending you hugs along with my prayers. Crich, cherish the time you have with your mom. Even through the bad stuff, you will find moments of joy. |

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Me and mom are at the start of a long, hard road. One thing I am glad of is that I have my fiancee and her family nearby.
