Newbie to Calbre but not etexts.
Hit from the USA here. I've collected texts from Gutenberg for years and have not read very many of them because I just can't stand to read from a LCD screen. I saw the launch of Barnes and Nobel Nook reader next month and have been getting real excited about it.
I am a fan of Edgar Rice Burroughs, I got hooked as a kid when I stubled upon my fathers stash of old paper backs. Te racy covers of girls in loin cloths first caught my eye and after reading a few chapters I was really into the stories. I've inherited my fathers collection and have downloaded all th texts that are in the public domain so as not to handle the fragile old paper backs. I am really looking forward to getting the Nook reader. |
