Six Seconds by Rick Mofina is some sort of thriller from Harlequin's spinoff Mira line. The description says it's Ludlum-esque, and it may have some romantic suspense elements though I think that Mira is supposed to be HQ's "serious" less-romancey imprint. And apparently the author is Canadian and used to hang around with the RCMP.

Anyway, currently free at Amazon UK. May or may not become free over in the US and/or directly via Harlequin's website. It can be hard to predict which stuff remains exclusive sometimes and Harlequin/Mills & Boon tend to be one of those "maybe" publishers.
