The Ptorrigan Lode(Character-driven sci-fi)
I’m the author of more than 50 dead-tree books, some of which are now available on Kindle. This thread is about The Ptorrigan Lode, a sci-fi novella about revenge and betrayal in the Asteroid Belt. I hesitated at first to send it out or show it, because it contains graphic scenes of torture, but nearly all my readers, not all of them experienced sf readers, have loved it. Sample review snippets: “Intense sci-fi noir with a tremendous twist at the end”; “this one grabbed me and made me think. I recommend it for anyone looking for a quick and gritty hard sci-fi fix”; ”I've read this story twice at this point. It's just that enjoyable to read, with all of the intriguing dialog, the plot twists and surprises, the character development, the flashbacks, the sublime ending, and even the torture sequences.”
Intrigued? You can download The Ptorrigan Lode free today, April 5, at Kindle: http://amzn.to/jw4D11 |
