Seems a bit unlikely that you Jailbroke the device and then did nothing else. What would be the point?

Obviously: the easy answer (That we give again and again) is to reflash the rootfs with a tool. this would fix that issue. I should know. I did it myself.

I too have jailbroken my Kindle Touch 3G over a year ago to try to make use of 3G for anything other than wikipedia (unsuccessfully). The only mod I used was the ssh mod to be able to ssh to the device.

Where can I get a tool to reflash the rootfs? - Any other alternatives?

I had an error 006 trying to upgrade my Kindle Touch from 5.1.2 to 5.3.2, I just tried Kubrick and it successfully restored my Kindle

- I'm now on 5.3.2.
