Silliness What kinds of candy are you giving out tonight?

I’m a firm believer in giving out good candy, i.e., the stuff I liked as a kid and still like. The problem is that while I want to treat all comers, I also don’t want much in the way of leftovers (well, I do want a few pieces, QC so to speak). it takes constant triage.

Anyway, chez issy this evening you’ll get Almond Joy, Snickers, Milky Way. I’ll hide one piece of each and hope to get rid of the rest.

We have a mix of M&Ms, snickers, twix, milky way, and 3 musketeers.

Sadly, none of the twix have survived to Halloween and very few snickers remain. The rest is going to the trick or treaters though!

We are giving out a mix of Cadbury and Nestlé full size chocolate bars. So a mixture of Cadbury's Crispy Crunch, Wunderbar, Caramilk, Mr. Big and Crunchie and Nestlé's Kit Kat, Coffee Crisp, Aero and Smarties. We prefer this to the mini-chocolate bars and the kids seem to agree.

We've got a couple of bags of mixed "fun sized" candy -- M&Ms, Nestlé, Hershey, etc.

(I forget the name of the comedian who was talking about "fun sized" candy and said that "fun" always seemed bigger to him.)

A variety of Maynards gummy candy and peanut free mini chocolate bars. I have enough to 145 “kids”.

Oh, in case you were wondering, we get about 60-75 kids each year.
