Series Out Of Order

When I load books from my files on my PC into Calibre 3.22.1, they are not in order. I have edit the metadata for the series to be in the correct order. How to I get the books to load correctly? Instead of me having to click the Series column to get them in to the correct order. Thank you!

What order is correct?

When you know, specify that order in the Tweaks section of the configuration:

Quote:
# Specify columns by which to sort the booklist on startup

sort_columns_at_startup = None
Perhaps:

[('authors',0), ('series',0), ('series_index',0), ('title',0)]

I use this tweak too, but never had to specify ('series_index',0) in the list for it to sort the series.

sort_columns_at_startup = [('authors', 0), ('series', 0), ('title', 0)]

Then again I also added the View Manager plugin years ago so maybe it is compensating for my lack of ('series_index',0) in the tweak.

It seems all three variants give the same sort:

[('authors', 0), ('series', 0), ('series_index', 0), ('title', 0)]
[('authors', 0), ('series', 0), ('title', 0)]
[('authors', 0), ('series_index', 0), ('title', 0)]

Thank you!! I found one that worked for what I wanted.
