Unless you compile Sigil yourself, you'll have to wait until the next release (or until your software repositories update to the latest release--whichever comes first). The latest version of Sigil is 0.9.8 and it looks like your repos are on 0.9.7. So it could be a bit before you see the fix, unless you build Sigil yourself from the latest source.

DONE!!! I modified the source code and compiled sigil 0.9.8 and so I have the rich text. Great! Thank you very much!!!
