Kant, Immanuel; Kritik der praktischen Vernunft; german v1 10th July 2009

Immanuel (ursp. Emanuel) Kant war ein deutscher Philosoph der Aufklärung und zählt zu den bedeutendsten deutschen Philosophen. Kant erstellte eine neue Philosophie in Bezug auf Recht, Religion und Geschichte, die die Geschichte der Philosophie weit über seine Zeit hinaus beeinflußte. Er formulierte den bekannten Satz „sapere aude“ (Habe Mut, dich deines eigenen Verstandes zu bedienen!) und deklarierte die Aufklärung als: „Ausgang des Menschen aus seiner selbst verschuldeten Unmündigkeit“. Auch weithin bekannt sind die vier „Kantischen Fragen“: Was kann ich wissen? Was soll ich tun? Was darf ich hoffen? Was ist der Mensch?

Die Kritik der praktischen Vernunft ist nach der Kritik der reinen Vernunft sein zweites Hauptwerk und wird manchmal auch als "zweite Kritik" bezeichnet. Sie wird nicht nur als eines der Hauptwerke Immanuel Kants sondern auch als eines der wichtigsten der Praktischen Philosophie. In diesem Buch formulierte Kant den Satz, der zu einem der bekanntesten aus seiner Feder geworden ist:
