ipad mini not recognized

Hi,
My Calibre does not see me ipad mini or my iphone 5. I have read through the blogs and forms. Download ios reader, Marvin, have selected apple,ipad and yet it see no device. I have changed the preference in itunes also. Made sure I have the updated version. Anything else??

My Calibre use to work on my pc with my kindle, now on my new mac with apple ithings it is now working. Please help.

Have you installed [GUI Plugin] iOS reader applications?
And optionally [GUI Plugin] Marvin XD for extra Marvin-specific support?

iOS requires installing these (^) non-bundled calibre device drivers.

I have installed, Marvin XD, followed the instructions and Marvin does not show up on my toolbar. Do I have to install the non-bundled calibre device drivers? Where would I get those? Thanks.

The device drivers are the two plugins I already linked to. Sorry for not being clearer.

Marvin XD depends on iOS reader applications to function (as described in the support thread's installation instructions). If it isn't working, ask there.

Make sure that you only have one iDevice plugged in at a time. Itunes will recognize more than one, but Calibre and Marvin won't.
