Now, I understand that you would want to hide your karma points (which is something we could add as an option), but why would you want others not be able to give karma to you?

I'm not going to stop posting if there is no karma and won't stop posting if we go to a nuclear option with karma. It's a fun little way to show appreciation to those who are here. sometimes for good works such as posting a great book, or for funny posts that make us laugh.
