Unable to start Calibre after reinstall

Hi,

I uninstalled Calibre and removed the related files (then rebooted). When I reinstalled and ran the program I get the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "main.py", line 1599, in <module>
TypeError: not all arguments converted during string formatting

I then get the option to configure the lib dir. I pick a clean dir and hit ok and the program exits. It then goes round the same look every time I restart it. The must be a file hanging around some where, but I dont know where. I am running windows Vista.

there is a calibre folder under your user profile that contains settings. If you delete this folder then calibre reverts to default settings (you may need to enable seeing hidden folders to see this folder).
