The real question is, will it have Ice Cream Sandwich at launch? If not, when? And will the 8" tablet get an ICS upgrade as well (I hope)?

It's been nothing but crickets for a while now. I suspect that they are working on the software front to bring it out with Jelly Bean.
Or at least, that's what I want to think, since it will possibly also bring a JB update to the old 8" Vizio Tab that I have. |

Maybe they have abandoned it. I've seen nothing.

I just tried their support chat, and they are unable to comment. I did pass along this thread URL for what it's worth.

Vizio has finally announced a new tablet, but it's a Windows 8 tablet:
Vizio Tablet PC Hands-On (Engadget) Disappointing, as their Android tablet is still one of the nicer ones on the market, and I don't care at all about a Windows 8 tablet. |

Stop the presses!
I don't see it on Engadget, but The Verge says that Vizio DID announce a 10" Android tablet today!
Vizio's 10-inch tablet combines Tegra 4, stock Android, and an ultra-light body (hands-on) No price or release date, and I'd have preferred a 4:3 aspect ratio, but the fact that it will run stock Jelly Bean is cause for celebration. Edit: and a 7" tablet as well. Last edited by JAcheson; 01-07-2013 at 06:33 PM. |

Oh boy.
Vizio. Their tvs are alright. But, I'm not fond of their other stuff. |
