Boox Note screen comparison

Hi Guys!

Can you tell me which device has a whiter screen? The Boox Note or the Note Plus?

I love my Note Plus but the regular Note seemed slightly whiter... makes sense because it doesn't have the extra layer the "plus" has.

Do you think it makes sense to remove the screen protector? Will the absence of that extra plastic layer make the screen whiter?

I would not remove the screen protector if you are going to use the stylus, regardless of the installed tip. These screens are what they are....slightly gray. I haven't seen any e-reader have a truly "white" background unless in complete sunlight or with a good frontlight system. At least the Note devices have a black shell which improves the perceived contrast vs. a white case.

Can you tell me why Kobos look so white though? Is this yellow tint on boox note caused by the two extra layer (capacitive and wacom)?
