Kindle Paperwhite 7th generation

Hi guys. Anyone can help me? I've been trying to fix the timeout screen on my kindle paperwhite 7th.

I'd like to disable this function and makes the screen be always turned on! I've also tried the command ~ds in the search bar, but it doesn't work at all.

There's another way?

Probably not.
And if there was, then it would not be a good idea unless you ALWAYS have the Kindle on external power.

The battery run-time of a Kindle is only a few hours.
The weeks or months between recharges marketing is based on the Kindle being asleep nearly the entire time.

I've searched all over the internet and found that command I've mentioned above (~ds)....The problem is while I'm reading and making notes the f---ing screen turns off after 10 minutes, I've just wanted to stop it and turns off the screen when I press the button.

Just tap on the screen every 9 minutes.

That command disables the 'sleep' function, not the screen saver.
Which is means the device is always running.
If you do that, you should have the device on external power.

1) Write faster.
2) Use the annotations and bookmark features.
3) Touch the screen once every 9 minutes.
4) Remember more, copy down less.
5) Take screenshot of pages with a lot to recall.
6) Purchase the printed on paper version of the book, they never turn off.

What makes you think that it doesn't ?

You can't tell just by looking at it, it can turn off the front light and enable a screen saver without going to sleep.

Install the screen saver add-in package, set its options to show the current page as the screensaver.
Then you can let it go to sleep and continue studying the current page.

Rooted? You may reset the sleep timer every n minutes with a script.

7. Get a Reader that can have the sleep turned off or set to high enough value to work for you.

We now (as of today) have a modification of SS that allows the Kindle to go to sleep while showing ALL of the page being viewed.
