Question Top E-Book is iPad?

After Apple released iPad,it attracts so many people, does it mean ipad has became the best E-Book?

Try reading on it in the full sun. And then try reading at the same spot on my old Cybook GEN3. Then ask again

The real question is -- how many of the Ipad buyers are avid readers? Try holding an Ipad for a few hours as your arms grow weaker.

Yeah, the iPad isn't for the book worms.

But still, it selling well and if it expands the e-book market, that's good news for bookworms as anything that expands the market is good for availability, pricing, etc.

I'm not sure. At this moment we know the first result: agency price, and I don't think that, now, it's a good thing.

Is iPad the best e-reader? Only the individual buyer's opinion counts.

For me, it's the best.

"Best" and "popular" very rarely happen to converge on a single product, at least as far as the end-user is concerned.

The iPad is good for some things, and not good for some things. It might be the best ebook reader for some buyers. Of course, other buyers swear by their Kindles, or Sony Readers, or PocketBooks, or jetBooks, or Cybooks, or their phones, or...or...or...

It's just a device. If it works for you, it's good. If it doesn't work for you, it's not good. Don't let popularity make you think it's the "best" anything.

I have not read E-Book ipad.
What is its genre? What is it about?
If it is a fantasy and taking into the account that it became the best, I might give it a try.

The "acid" test will be whether once purchased the user continues to use it ....

Never joke around like that. Steve Jobs might read it and decide to up the hype even more for his next product release!

Certainly the hype has been one reason why it has been so "successfully" launched ... but then few other manufacturers have the same kind of 'clout' as Apple. Once you've mentioned Amazon and Sony, there are few capable of shouting as loudly ... (except perhaps Microsoft - but they don't shout ..... just bellow!)

On the other hand, it helps develop muscles.

Now that's a USP that wasn't used by Apple in their vast advertising campaign ....

try reading your Gen3 cybook in the dark...

Your statement was true but its true of any device even the eink with lights built in are not as good for reading in the dark as the iPad.

Its irrelevant in deciding 'best' as they are completely different devices.

I think it's more likely that most people read in lower light situations. Here in FL, only fans of skin cancer read in full sun.
