Question about Sharing books
I am wondering if I was to load books that I purchased through the sony store and other places (and some free books as well) onto an sd card could I take this card and put it in another reader and have it work? I apoligize if this is illegal I am just curious , a friend at work has the same reader and we were wondering if we could share books this way

Hi artemisblossom!
If the books aren't protected by DRM this will work. With free ebooks - no problem. With books from the Sony Store (if their format is lrx) it won't work. The only way (beside removing DRM, which is not legal in most of the countrys and so far isn't possible for LRX-format) to share DRM-protected ebooks is to autorize both of the readers with the same ID. But then the ebooks, bought with another ID won't work anymore... Greetings, Momo |
