I just ordered the basic package plus leather cover. I have everything else in the deluxe package except a spare battery but since these kind of batteries deterioate over time even if they are not used it seems like a bad idea to buy an extra battery now if you are not going to use it until the other battery becomes bad.

Concerning warranty I assume you also have this three year right to get certain things fixed according to the EU rule that regulates these kind of things.

Only if they are charged. An uncharged Lithion Ion battery has a very long storage life, but they start deteriorating the first time they are charged.

I read somewhere it has a lithium-poly instead of a lithium ion battery. They can be stored, charge them only 20% in a not too warm environment.

the battery will probably be available on ebay in a couple of months.... 45 euro is quite a lot for a standard 3,7v ipod type battery. I've used ebay batteries from Hong kong several times for mp3 players and never had any problems. only 5 euro's.

The leather case looks good, I wonder if the front part can be folded backwards.

What is happening? Can't we buy anything till 2008?

must be a mistake, can't believe they would let us order this early . I'm cancelling my order if it really where 2008 .

I finally ordered the Cybook, the mistake of 2008 has been fixed,
now puts 2007.

For Ortep: yes, to me the same thing happening. shipping date 28/10/2007.

The orderID of Ortep is 2428, and my orderID is 2553, does this mean that ordered more of 125 people?

Yeah, mine also says the shipping thing. I think it's just a way of saying you have made your order.

This is making be so antsy. I do want to know how the NAEB version is going to turn out so I do want to wait to get that info, but for waiting for it since it was discovered by mobileread, It seems that I want it now after all this waiting.
