Thanks - but when/why would one use Pages in chapter in preference to Position in chapter, i.e. what's the design intent of having both.
A terracotta clay tablet might be better for 'Paged mode'. More in keeping with the scroll. Clay tablets predate papyrus scrolls and they last longer ![]() BR |

Position and pages are different kinds of metrics like location and pages on a kindle. Which you prefer is your choice and you can excercise that preference at the book or the chapter level.
@comfy: the icon is just the unicode character for page U+1f5cf unfortunately the unicode standard in their infinite wisdom didnt make it an "emoji" so it renders smaller depending on the interface font. |
