Why is Chapters so misinformed?

Check this out

Look at all the mistakes they've made;

1. The WiFi does not use the Pearl screen.

2. The Kobo Touch is 185g not 200g

3. The Kobo WiFi doesn't use a Micro-USB cord it uses a Mini-USB cord (I like that cable port better)

Now take this link

1. Obviously you can't get 200,000 (Typo but still)

2. I can't see any option on the Touch to share highlights and awards to Twitter.

3. No bookmarking for multiple pages (Not in the official release yet)

So where do all these mistakes come from? I see they removed the bad screen shot where they took the library view from the WiFi and pasted it onto the Touch.

To be fair, the Touch's box *DOES* say it weighs 200g (just checked).

Also it says the Vox has an infrared touch screen and the Kobo touch has a multi-touch screen. I believe that's backwards.

Actually I have 2 Touch boxes. The one from Borders in the US says that it weighs 200g and the one from JB HiFi in Australia says that it weighs 185g.

Obviously the Touches are identical.

I can only asume that the poor Americans aren't really sure exactly what a gram is and so are bit fudgy on how many of them it might weigh!

(Sorry to all my American friends - I couldn't resist that - and in fairness I can never remember how much an ounce or a pound is anymore either!)

Canadian gallons are not the same as USA gallons why should grams be the same?
Maybe the box weight is right? Did you check the weight for each on the same scale?
Maybe the higher weight includes the cable and the lower weight doesn't include the cable.
Maybe borders Kobo has longer lasting battery. Does it really matter?

My KT from Borders in US weight is 185g and 205g including cable. Scale made in China without certified calibration.

I checked on a scale and it said it weighs 184g EXACTLY.

The real joke is US law saying we are now using metric system without schedule for implementation being followed.
