How to dowload calibre on iPad

Hello --

I tried to download calibre on my iPad but get a message in Safari that file could not be downloaded. No other information with error message. Any suggestions?

Do you mean you tried to download a book shared through calibre on your ipad?

Can you see the calibre server from the iPad? Can you see your list of books?

Calibre doesn't run on the iPad. It runs on a PC (or Mac, or Linux machine) and you can use a reader like Stanza to connect directly to Calibre's content server or use Calibre to publish books to iTunes that can be synced for iBooks.

If you were trying to download a book, in what format was the book and what ebook reading Software are you trying to use.

If you meant that you were trying to download calibre itself then why? Calibre runs on a PC or Mac, not directly on the iPad.
