Angry calibre-server on vps alongside apache with ssl

So, here's my drama...

I have a VPS at cloud.domain.net. At the root of that domain is my ownCloud (http://www.owncloud.org) instance. On port nnnn is my wallabag (http://www.wallabag.org) instance and on port xxxx is my calibre-server.

I recently updated my self-signed SSL certificate to a Let's Encrypt! certificate. Now, when I attempt to access my calibre server at https://cloud.domain.net:xxxx, i get an SSL connection error, but... wait for it... only in Google Chrome on Linux. In Google Chrome on Android, it works fine. In Firefox on Linux, it works fine. From my kindle touch via wifi, IT WORKS FINE!!!!

I'm at a loss... are there any jedi's who can help me with this irritation?

Thanks,
Matt

Whatever certificate store chrome on linux is using does not include CA certificates for the CA the Lets Encrypt certificate is signed with or you forgot to include the intermediate certificates for the LE certificate in whatever server you are proxying the calibre server from. Depending on what client you use to generate the LE certificates, you might or might not have to include the intermediates manually.
