I agree with combining Nook Color with regular Nooks. A reader is a reader. Why should it matter if the screen is LCD or eink? Either way they are ebook customers for B&N and not Amazon.
Apple is different in that reading is just one of the functions and not the one driving the most sales. Also, an iPad customer can buy books from B&N or Amazon or just about anyone else. I buy most of my iPad books via Amazon. As for iPads sales declining....that was true comparing the holiday 4th quarter to the first quarter sales which is also the quarter before the expected annual upgrade to the new model. I bet Kindle and Noom sales went down comparing those same two quarters as well. Lee |

This really isn't surprising at all. The Nook STR just came out last month, whereas the K3 came out almost a year ago, so one would expect its current sales in the US to be better.
