One is Mrs. Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children. I read it several years ago, I remember enjoying it, enough to consider it re-read worthy. But, I think I remember just a bit too much of the story, so the "gotta find out what happens next" factor isn't there this time.

The other is an audio book, and I think it has more to do with the reader than the book. He has a beautiful voice, but too soothing to keep me engaged.

Not a happy start for the year 2017. I've read 4 books till now and I am afraid no one got a three star+ rating in my views. I'll have to be more cautious while selecting next book from the TBR.
