Thumbs up Free (nook/Kindle/Kobo/iTunes) I'm a Girl! [Canadian Kids Adventure Picture Book]

I'm a Girl! by National Newspaper Award-winner Cinders McLeod, a former art director and illustrator for The Globe and Mail (Wikipedia), one of our top national newspapers, & Terence Sellwood, a National Magazine Award Foundation Lifetime Achievement honouree, is their upbeat lifepath-possibilities-exploring girls' adventure illustrated picture book for younger readers, free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins.

In case you were wondering, there is indeed an I'm a Boy! companion title by the same authors.

Currently free @ B&N (also UK), Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), Kobo & Google Play (both available to Canadians), and from iTunes in both a regular edition and a Made for iBooks edition with some form of unspecified multimedia enhancement in it (available to Canadians and apparently many places worldwide when I spot-check).

And this has been the selected 3rd (non-repeat) free ebook thread of the day.

Because we could use more books that inspire kids to think outside the box and try to be more than mainstream society might tell them they should be and not be limited by other people's expectations of their role in life, and this one was done by award-winning fellow Canadians, to boot.

Enjoy!

Description
An exciting future awaits young girls! With the power to dream big, girls can do anything they want to do—from mountain climbing to farming, or conducting an orchestra to captaining a ship. Every girl should recognize that she is strong and smart!

This charming picture book encourages girls to reach beyond traditional gender barriers and explore a broad range of careers and interests. Inspired by a grandfather’s hopes for his granddaughter’s future, I’m a Girl! will empower young readers and show them that girls can do anything.

This ebook has been built for use on all e-reading devices.
