ACSM - Sainsbury's .... (UK)

All the books I've got from Sainsbury's, having just joined their Book Club, I've transferred/tried to do so into Calibre, but are all ACSM format ... don't think I've had this before, or if I have I hadn't realised.
Now all I get is the old ....can't deal with this, no format ... etc...
How do I convert this into something it can handle please ?
Do I need to delete,re-download it and re-import it to Calibre ?
(Having just got the hang of banging AZW on the head, I feel a bit miffed I've now found something else that's unco-operating ...........)

Just to add to what the Calibre FAQ says. If you use Sony's software for your Sony devices you can also use that to open the ACSM and download the ePub instead of using ADE if you want.

Do you mean to say that I have to download and use a horrible buggy piece of software just to access my purchased content? (Found some books I wanted on Sainsbury's and purchased them. Nowhere did it say I would have to install a piece of shite in order to access what I bought.)
