When you get to the checkout page, there's a box to insert a discount code. I tried this on Kobo.ca and perkopolis worked for me. See attached image where the original price went from $269.99 to $243.00 Cdn (~$213.10 US).

ETA: I just tested it, and code PERKOPOLIS works for another 10% off, knocking the Sage price down to $207. And if the 5% rebate at Rakuten takes, that would bring the price below $200. I don’t think it’s been cheaper.

Frankly, no, at least not so long as you can still buy the PW4, assuming you want 6”. Except that right now Amazon is charging $110 for the PW4 and the Clara nets at $81 in the current sale; also the Clara has the amber light, if that appeals. I think the next level over the basic Kindle or the Nia is one worth paying for, especially when the 300 dpi device is on sale.

But for someone who’s invested in Amazon? I think the Clara wouldn’t be worth the bother, but it might be worth the savings if you needed a new 6” device right now. But I’m speaking as someone who sideloads only when necessary and prefers direct wireless downloads.

Kobo is much better then Kindle if you side load and use Calibre.

I agree, but that’s a huge IF. And for someone who’s already integrated into Kindle, it’s hard to make the argument when it’s so much easier to download directly to the device. However, in this case, you can still argue on the basis of cheapness.

My Moto E6 started having serious battery drainage issues this week. It's been a nice little device for my audio listening.

Any recommendations of what would be a good replacement for it? Is it worth it to replace the battery in the device? Is this the right place to ask this question?
