Exclamation Different series for a book

Would be possible to have two or more series for the same book? There are plenty of anthologies that have stories, each one belonging to a different series and it's awful having duplicates just because I want to have the series complete. Is there a way of adding the different series to the same metadata of the book?

The standard way to do this is to add a custom column to your library of type 'series'. You can then use this to store a second set of series information against books that need it.

The only problem is that you then need to search both the stabdard and custom fields when checking for any particular series.

Thanks a lot for the help... Although I have several columns added to my calibre library, I've never thought to add one for series... thanks!!!

Grouped search terms make this easier by creating a virtual searchable column that contains the union of all the "real" columns in it. You create grouped search terms in preferences/searching.

You could split the book into multiple books, and then add each individually to the appropriate series.

See thread: [GUI Plugin] EpubSplit
