Cool Create your own advanced stylus

The stylus included with DR1000S is horrible to write with. But I did not want to spend approx $50-$70 to get a better stylus. I would rather buy a fountain pen for that amount. So, I decided to do a little project

I found an old ball pen, opened it, and stuck the stylus where the refill used to be. Of course, I could not get the pen to close as the stylus is much thicker on the top and bottom than a typical refill.

The end result looks ugly, but it is pretty comfortable to write with. Friction is holding the stylus to the body of the pen. So, I can take the stylus out, put it back in its slot for storage, and stick it back in the ball pen body when I need to write. I think that now I can live without an advanced stylus

I've seen somebody do this for the iLiad as well. It's a clever idea.

I have something similar. :-)

I used a bigger pen though so that I'm able to put whole stylus inside of it. Plus the tip of the stylus sticks out from it so it's like having a normal pen.

How do you block the stylus in the ball pen body? I own the same pen and it is a little larger..
I guess.. with a piece of paper?

I just pushed the stylus inside the pen and it sticks. I write without using too much pressure, so it does not come out. If I pull the stylus, it comes out.
