Hi,
I've got access to some German libraries:

http://www.onleihe.net/

which all use Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) DRM for ebooks.

Is there any way to read such ebooks on an e-ink Kindle device (Paperwhite)?

Does there exist any additional piece of software (for Kindle Paperwhite), e.g. "KOReader", "CoolReader 3", "kindlepdfviewer", which supports Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) DRM for ebooks?

Calibre can convert them to Kindle format and Apprentice Alf can remove the DRM, if you are comfortable with that. We cannot discuss the details on this site.

Screen capturing and then transferring those captured pages to Kindle (as nonsearchable images/pdfs or searchable pdf, mobi, epub ...) or using Kindle as a second monitor

They use two DRM schemes. ADE and Adobe Policy server. No comment on how to circumvented both of them.
