epub in mobi ist die Datei immer soviel größer?
Habe eben das erstemal ein epub Buch in ein mobi Buch mit Calibre umgewandelt. Was mir auffällt ist: epub = 0,36 mb mobi = 1,18 MB ist das richtig? Das Mobiformat braucht fast 4x soviel Platz? Oder muss ich da was in den Einstellungen ändern?

Was ist PCR oder so ähnlich, ist das ein anderes Format?

Nein, ist das gleiche.
Das Mobi-Format erlaubt ebenfalls Kompression. Mobi-Creator lässt dieses einstellen, bei calibre wüsste ich nicht wo.

Wenn ich via Stanza konvertiere (ist wesentlich besser als mit Calibre), wird die Datei ca. doppelt so groß.

Lustig, bei mir sind viele mobi sogar kleiner als die ePub, ansonsten nur geringfügig größer. Und ich nehme überhaupt keine Einstellungen bei calibre vor.
