Missing Oasis Highlighter Option
Hi all. A strange things occured with my 9th gen oasis concerning highlighter texts. This started with the last book i purchased with Oasis firmware 5.13.x and has continued with firmware 5.14.1.
I followed the required steps to turn off the highlighter texts but i discover i have no 'Highlight & about this book' option in the Reading Options. Available settings shown are 'Page Refresh, Vocabulary Builder, and Page-Turn Buttons'
I've just read a book with the highlighters showing and it really bugged me throughout.
Any help please.

I don't have a Kindle with 5.13.7, but this question was answered in the firmware 5.13.7 thread by JHowell...

Ahh many thanks. I haven't been on the forum for a long time. Doing a google search for missing hightlighter text threw me a curved ball in the wrong direction hence the post. Again many thanks.

I need to pass this "thanks" on to JHowell. I'm like you, I don't like other people's highlights in a book I'm reading. I don't know why they ever thought that would be a good idea.

I like the ability to toggle it on/off. When reading something inspirational, or a bible study type book, I like seeing what others highlight. I think it's a nice feature.
