The most interesting features (for FB2/TXT reader):
1) Clock in status bar and the possibility to adjust clock from the menu!
2) Footnotes
3) Memory leakage fixes.
Can't get it to work with the updater

A clock in the status bar!?
Impossible, I don't believe it! This must be a late April fools joke.
What next an alarm clock application?

Would this not use up the batteries? I leave mine on all the time. Would I then have to turn it off?

A very nice feature would be a jump-back button.
Because it is so easy to loose your page when pressing a jump-to-bookmark button.
I usually set a bookmark to the footnotes.

Yep. The clock in the status bar. The clock is updated with every page turn (not by timer, so it won't drain the battery). IMHO, very useful feature. Only one disadvantage - after reset (or turn on/off) you need to set up clock once more, but it is quite simple and can be done directly from the menu.

Very interested to see what "2. Improve DOC format function" holds for improvements. Will try out this evening.

This looks promising. HTML entity support and modifications to the bookshelf ordering are something I've been looking forward to, as are improvements in the rar and zip file support. The font support looks interesting, but I'll have to see whether it's better than what is possible with the fb2.css hack.

Ok, it happened before... but now I'm really stuck:
Whatever I try I only get the annoying beeps with the "Invalidate File Please check your update file" error message.
Tried 3 differend SD cards (including my usual update card) reformatted them over and over with FAT16, even tried FAT32.. but no luck...

Anyone else has had the same experience and has a solution (or possible cause)?

Maybe you should try newer version of WinRAR software to unpack firmware file? Which one are you using?

I had the same problem on my own 256 SD card but when I tried the 512 one supplied by Jinke it worked. I'm not sure why it seems to work with particular ones.....

Still no luck..

I've redownloaded it, tried a different machine and SD reader, 3 different SD cards (256Mb, 512Mb (card provided by Jinke) and 1Gb)
Reset the device a couple of times..
Still the annoying beep and the firmware not found..
I'm on the 1.25.080318 firmware version btw..

*edit* Downloaded latest winrar to be sure, but nope.. still nothing.
Out of suggestions now.. anyone else run into the same problem? Besides formatting using fat16.. other options available??

Ok, 2 additional SD cards tried and nope.. same error.
So tried the update procedure without the SD card in it... same error. Does that mean the v3 doesn't see the update file or expects a different file name then provided?

Hi!
I just managed..
1. Unzip/untar/unrar SW, you need V3update.bin on SD
2. Restart V3, press + (MP3 volume increase) during boot.

Now it works even from 2 Gb SD card.
While 080417 verzion failes, All is OK with latest chinese SW.
Even Slovene menus.

Apparently I'm not the only one with problems:

Don't see a solid solution described though, the translation is also not very clear all the time.
