Here are various versions that I have found on the net.
Newer versions are at the top of following list.
Development is discussed on the Russian-speaking forum at the-ebook.org.
PocketBook stopped selling devices in USA, because they couldn't compete with Amazon. When they dropped prices significantly they were pissing off the rest of the world and it still wasn't enough to get traction in USA market. So English-speaking forums like this one only rehash things from Russian forum. There is German PocketBook forum on this server that has more activity, because PocketBooks still sell well in Germany.

Yep, that's the site I got it from. When I went to the page using Google Chrome, Chrome asked me if I wanted it to translate from German to English. It did a passable translation for me.

And my initial assement of being underwhelmed has been steadily improving the more I use the Touch Lux 2. I'm about brave enough to try changing the theme.

I downloaded Michael Sonntag's coolreader3 http://michaelsonntag.net/wp-content...11_PBTouch.zip to my tux2 It is very nice. Now I only have to figure out how to define it as default reader.

There is configuration file extensions.cfg. There are many topics here discussing the use, modification, hacking, finding the default version of this file. You can go to the oldest topics from "Goode Olde Tymes" when the PB360 was THE king and this forum was bustling with activity. The new version works exactly the same way.

That is good to hear. It was in those Goode Olde Tymes that my wife first discovered the joys of the PB360, and got us both hooked on PocketBook ereaders.

Coolreader3 works well on the Lux 2. It takes a fair bit of setting up as the default settings are pretty ordinary. It has a better touch interface than the AdobeViewer, so I fixed some of my other problems with the Lux 2. Very happy with it.

Yes, I'm very happy with it, once setup like I want, I only wish there could be a control for switching the backlight on/off.

I had not, it seems I should have read the quick start guide 0:-)
