the only way to use the connect store

1) go to amazon, find the book you like,
2) go to the connect store and see if it is there.
3) If it is check prices and if it is cheaper buy it

Repeat 100 times till you satisfy 2 & 3

Thats it.

The Connect store is too basic, slow, and badly designed for anything else other than raw purchases.

However, if you like scrolling, and scrolling and scrolling with no reviews, and minimal information on books knock, and ridiculously slow response times knock yourself out on connect.

I cannot beleive how bad and slow the UI is. How could they have made it any worse? I suppose they could have had a third nested scrolling window that always has content that overflows it but I expect even sony would have realised at that point that it was absurd.

I've heard (haven't used it) that the Connect Music side is even worse. Which is pretty scary.

I agree the eBook Store on the CONNECT Reader software is painfully slow. I just go to http://ebooks.connect.com/ and look at the selection from there. It's little faster through a browser. When I see a book I like, I then go and order it through the CONNECT Reader app.
