Saving annotations using calibre

Hi,

I read somewhere that it is possible to save annotations in calibre comments field, but I have been searching this forum for clues and could not find any.

Is it really possible, and how can it be done ?

Thanks

Found it :

In Calibre library, right click on the book which has annotations on the Kobo, select
--> Send to Device
---> Fetch Annotations (Experimental)

That works !

Does it only work for Kobo? I can't get it to work for T1 or nook glow.

This was a Kobo only feature in calibre.

What's the current status of this?

Are there any other devices which would let me download/upload
annotations?

What about highlights/bookmarks?

What about freehand annotations?

thanks
