Getting rid of web bookmarks?

How does one get rid of web bookmarks in the browser in the Fire?

With the Stock Browser open, touch the bottom of the screen to bring up the Options Bar if it is not visible. Touch the last Icon on the far right of the Options bar. This will open your Bookmarks. LONG press (press and hold) the Bookmark you want to delete. You should receive a pop-up menu which will allow you to delete the bookmark as well as some other choices.
