well I waited up till midnight local time for the update, which was before this thread even started :S
Oh, and I think the next release will be Eagle...

Okay, I was really starting to wonder if something was wrong with the update app. *sigh* So we'll have to wait a couple more days. I'm disappointed but glad it wasn't released with bugs. That would be worse than getting the update on time but with errors.

I would rather wait and have a good clean update, thanks, lets get it right and show people who are watching what you can do.

100% Ermine gets my vote, but that's probably because I'm envisioning dressing up my edge so I can make a bad "ermine and pearls" joke. Eagle would be another sensible choice, though, if you can see fit to let a bird into the pack.

And another voice of agreement re: fixing bugs pre-release. Makes perfect sense.

Dingo is a australian's dog. My friends and I believe it is asian dog that still in australia when the land was split out. Because it looks the same face as some dog in my country.

This event is repeating itself that's happened with IREX DR1000S firmware update in past 2 years and people complained IREX a lots. Then IREX changed their behavior on firmware released by open beta tester and most people are happy about it.

We are looking to launch a formal beta tester program with the next release after Dingo (which I'm going to call Echidna until engineering tells me I'm wrong). We had a soft launch of the program with this release and it got us some very good feedback and caught some very tricky bugs. Let me know if you are interested in participating.
