I recently published a paperback through KDP and didn't find it too difficult. First off, download a template from Amazon for the size you want the paperback. The margins are already set. Then copy and paste your book into the template. You'll need to set up page numbers beginning on your first page which was a little challenging. If you already have an ebook they will upload your cover into their cover creator which you can resize and see the trim lines. I didn't opt for any bleed. That was it for me. Oh, pick a nice old font too. Good luck.

What is the printing cost? How much can you sell your book for?
