I re-borrowed one of the books . . . downloaded it . . . sent it to Kindle for PC. Voila, the "special price" appeared for the book in my wishlist at Audible. I haven't tried the other 4 books, yet, but I'm sure that they'll be okay, too.

I don't know if it was a glitch or possibly that I didn't do something right the first time. Anyway, it's fixed, and now I've got 5 cheap audiobooks that I can buy.

When you return it, you're no longer eligible for the WS title. Incidentally, this usually translates directly to local currency with no conversion rates. For instance, the article says £2.99, but in the US, they're usually $2.99 (as opposed to the roughly $4.50 that £2.99 would convert as) and in Australia, AU$2.99, etc.
