Yes, it's pretty flawless usually.
NOTE: Instead of converting to MOBI, try converting to azw3, it is Amazon's successor to MOBI and all Amazon books will be azw3 unless they simply haven't been updated. |

Welcome to the forum, Sailor1
The only other thing to mention is that you will need to make friends with Apprentice Alf, because many ebooks have DRM, the main purpose of which is to prevent you from converting. We can't discuss him on the forum, I'm afraid, but DuckDuckGo or google will help you find him. |

Sailor1 you will also be best off using Calibre in order to facilitate Alf's Tools.
Calibre is a free ebook management library database software. Calibre.com Also look at the Calibre sub-forum in Mobileread. Owing to Calibre and Alf's Tools there isn't really an issue as to which ereader brand you choose. Also, there is a thread called something like 'which ereader to choose' in the Mobileread sub-forum on ereaders. Last edited by Lynx-lynx; 01-15-2014 at 02:18 AM. |

Sailor,
I will second, third and fourth the recommendations for Calibre. When I had an old Sony PRS-505, I use to convert everything into Sony's format because it didn't support justification in E-Pub. The other advantage is that you can adjust basic formatting parameters to match your personal preferences. I have found this quite useful in the past. -- Bill |
