Bamburg, Lillian: Septimus March Again; v1, 22 Dec 2021

Ms Bamburg is one of those authors who works have vanished almost without trace. She is known to have written the novel "Beads of Silence", and "Rays of Darkness", and possibly others, in the 1920s, as well as a series of short puzzle type detective stories featuring Septimus March. This batch of Septimus March stories was published weekly in the Sunday Times, in Perth, Western Australia, commencing 6 October 1929.They do not appear to have been published in any other Australian newspaper, and they are not in the on-line "Index to the Fiction Magazines". The 13 stories amount to some 38,000 words.

As no cover exists, I made one up by modifying a hand-tinted film lobby card image from the early 1920s.
