Murder, not just one, in a mountain top eyrie in the Rockies, accessible only by air, owned by an eccentric media baron. There are forewarning notes from "Mr Fate".

Gordon Keynes is an alias which, it seems was reserved by Bedford-Jones for conventional detective stories.
