I just arrived from my holidays and read an interesting article about an upcoming Datacenter for logging every move a British citizen does on the www for two years -including emails, IM, and the full history!

Actually, it's very interesting how many government measures being passed currently (things like asset recovery, crown court powers) only apply to England & Wales, occasionally Northern Ireland, but not to Scotland (which would require separate enactment).
Causes a headache for those of us based across both jurisdictions. |

You see, they keep talking about peace in the Middle East as if that's a good thing. But just look at the UK and you can see what happens when millenia old hatreds get negotiated out into a peaceful coexistence.
