Crash and SDCARD issues

Newest Firmware Update

I have got around 460 ebooks on my sdcard. The reader is very slow (for instance if you want to set a bookmark or get out of the book).

If a book is very big (>4000 pages) the sony reader sometimes crashs or gets out of the book to the main menu.

Sometimes it doesn't recognize the SDCARD anymore and only shows the book from the internal memory. You have to reinsert the card to get it recognize again.

I've got also some freeze ups - so you have to restart the reader sometimes.

Sony should hunt down more bugs ... its not that stable (especially with a lot of books).

What format are your books in? I've never personally experienced a "freeze-up".

Some of the anthologies I've created have been pretty long, and they've all been fine.

I've never had a lock up, but I do pretty often have the problem of the SD card vanishing and requiring a re-insert, my guess is that some SD cards draw more power than others, but even so, it shouldn't cause a problem

With big LRF books that have a complex structure (Lots of TextBlocks) the reader of runs out of memory with unpredictable results, including resets.

I just started having the problem of the card disappearing when I am on Connect. I think this started happening after the latest firmware upgrade, but I am not sure.
