Which program do you recomend to convert PDF file to TEXT?

Acrobat (even the reader only version) will allow you so save a PDF as text. Don't know how good the results are though.

I've found the results mixed using Adobe to save a pdf to text. SOme look really good while others are a mess
|

I don't have any experience, but it is rather expensive.
For PDF files, do you really need to convert them to text or simply to LRF files? libprs500 does a great job converting some PDFs, including illustrations. |
