Problem with Digital Editions

Don't know what I am doing wrong here.

Bought a book that needed Digital Editions, and downloaded it no problem.

I can open this in the Digital Editions window but when I use Calibre to add it to the Calibre library, then use Calibre to load it onto my Kobo I cannot read it because it comes up with that's it not registered with Digital Editions.

Just checked and I cannot read it in Calibre either.

What am I doing wrong?
